vicdeng
Hi, guys, i am ready to do the JDM projector conversion, and i am using DDM HID h1 kit for low beam, keep the high beam in the projector as it is. i don't have plan for the driving light yet and need advice. I made a lil wiring diagram to show you guys before actually doing it. Any comments are welcomed. thanks http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb14/vicdeng/Wiring.jpg?t=1294711432

subikid90
You dont split the ground. The way the lights work it by grounding the bulb, so when you turn your high beams on you ground out the high beam. But your wiring diagram is correct, just power instead of ground. Here is some pictures and a DIY for it http://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=5941&hilit=projector+wiring For the city light I wired it to my "DRL's," and no longer have my side markers (amber) light up besides for blinker. The JDM lights only have a 1156 bulb socket for the turn signals, only blink, so I used that instead of modifying my USDM socket. Hope this helps. That means i don't need to split the ground and just leave the ground for low beam to use.
subikid90
On your picture what you called positive is really a ground and vise versa. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
