babybaluga32
2.2 No cat Turbo 2.5" exhaust I just read that some modded 2.5's backfire, they said it wasn't a bad thing, but I'm curious if its bad for my turbo? It's once the rpm's drop after hard acceleration. They aren't huge backfires. I have a aem fpr. Its generally on 52 psi

ehsnils
Backfiring is an indication that the engine runs rich. It may well be that the ECU and sensors doesn't keep up with your throttle handling or that you need a tune. If it isn't serious it's no big deal, but I see it as an indication that you should do a tune if you can.
Zues Marine
you'll have to go to the other side of the state for a worthy tune too, theres very little people around here that do it right
