Catless:

-cheaper

-slightly more powerful

-louder

-ability to shoot flames when shifting or decelerating

-possibly won't pass emissions test or visual inspection

-smelly

Catted:

-more expensive (by $100-200)

-less powerful than catless, but still way more than stock

-quieter

-pass emissions and/or visual inspection

-no flames

-not as smelly

Definately check your local emissions/inspection laws before you go catless. I'd have gone catless if it weren't for local laws.

I went with catless, but only because Indiana doesn't care about emissions. Other states will hassle you.

A friend of mine was pulled over in his STI in Ohio and the cop had a mirror on a long stick to check underneath the car for a cat.

It's cool; I'm with the band
