camroncamera
I've been using superbrightleds.com for my Scirocco indicators for years, and I plan to change the LGT over to LEDs as well.
Custom Trendz Inc.
are they any better on drawing power from the alternator(i have dimming lights, so blinkers included)
camroncamera
They do indeed use much less power, that is much of the appeal of LEDs. For the turn indicators though, I ran into some complications. When I replaced my turn lamps without either adding special resistors or a special low-load turn-signal relay, the reduced load on the electrical system made my LED signal not flash. The electrical system in my VW _depends on_ the load of full-wattage indicator lamps in order to function properly. I ended up using resistors and am very pleased with the end results. YMMV. Custom Trendz Inc.
well finished the car today, luckily because I was driving a 95 c280 benz which sucks in the snow. When i got to the garage it was about .5-1in of snow. When i got done i got to drive in 5-8 inches . Its a blast, does not misfire and runs like a beauty.
