Xterior
So I'm looking to run 17x9 with 215/45/17 on stock suspensions? But undecided on which offset, either 28 or 38. Any one have experience with this? If you have pictures even better. I'm throwing them on a 05 LGT. Thanks, -B-
S402
28 is way to low for daily driving mine are 18x8 with 48 offset and I'm almost flush with the fender 38 could work but it depends on your tire size
BAC5.2
Woah, a 28 is pretty wild! A good friend of mine DID run 22 offset wheels on his Forester XT. It was actually pretty awesome looking. I'll see if I can find pics. Matty2Hotty
+38, don't ruin the car anymore. Also notice the forester does have the fender flares to give it that look without poking.

05legacygt2.5
Oh well the fender sits about .25 or .5 inch above the tire so I am guestimating the drop it may not be so severe as 3.5 it may be 2.5 or 3 IDK it is a custom spring anywho. Josh The ride is nice and the springs fell like stock minus the hard bumps... BAC5.2 you should see them on a stock ride height...LOL
Drift Motion
just more camber and lower it more it'll fit just fine just looked at the spec calculator my 9.5 +38 is more aggressive than this
05legacygt2.5
I have not had the camber adjusted as of yet it is set to stock settings and also need to get an alignment as well.....LOL I wont go any lower it is a DD so it rides about as rough as i am willing to take it.. Xterior
I was thinking of +28 on 255/50/17 stock suspension.

05legacygt2.5
Now that will look a tad bit like a roller skate out of the 80s....LOL but to each his/her own..
Xterior
Well I just don't want to sacrifice the ride comfort, plus on stock height I already rub in a lot of places around my house. What would you guys suggest; smaller tires, 38 offset, etc...? Thanks for all the input so far.
sumfoo1
38-42 offset you know lowering springs are stiffer too not just lower right? Your tire may have less room to move but it will also move less.
