laxdudeee Posted November 18, 2010 Share Posted November 18, 2010 Yesterday I tore into my car to replace the CV axle, but managed to break the bolt that secures the LBJ in place. Right now I have the spindle out so I can re-drill and tap it at work. I need a new bolt to go in there, hopefully I can drill and tap the hole for the oem size, so does anybody know the PN for that bolt? It doesn't show up in my parts search. Also, is it possible to buy just the boots for the LBJ and tie rod end? I messed those up in pure frustration... TIA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

notthesnail Posted November 18, 2010 Share Posted November 18, 2010 Flange bolt 901000060 Ball joint complete 21067GA050. I don't see just the boot. My mechanic welded a nut, through the center, to the top of the broken bolt to make a new head. Then heat the socket up like a mo-fo and back the bolt out. No tapping needed.
