How to tell what model legacy? L, LS

Recommended Posts

I was considering getting this 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon but i want to know more about it. I havent went to look at the car, i just have 3 pictures of it and a little description. Its a 5 speed. I was trying to figure out if its AWD or not and i noticed that the base model legacy wagon only had FWD, the L model had AWD optional, and i know this isnt an LS. I dont know if this is the standard/base model, or if its the L or what. i really need the AWD feature. The pics are attached.

what i know about the car: cloth seats, seats lean back and up, 5 speed.

I would assume it's the most basic Legacy due to the rear end and no badges stating it. I have an L with optional AWD and it states both on the rear. Chances are that's a FWD. You can always check on the driver's side door panel sticker. It should tell it there. The FWD's are still really good cars though.
