adolan21
get can of fix a flat ! .. also tires plugs work wonders ! AAA changed my tire but the spare tire sounds like shit on the road. I'm hoping it's just the tire noise and not something else. I couldn't find a hole, do tire plugs look like or are they made of tar? I found something tar like in the tread of the tire which makes me believe this tire was fixed before:confused: Hopefully the plug came loose and it's a quick fix but for now I'm not sure. burnout8488
Tire plugs can seem tarry, yes. Usually pretty reliable, I've never had one pop out.
vr4Legacy
Spare tire is going to sound like crap. I wouldn't worry about the noise. Also remember it WON'T handle like a full size, so don't drive it like one. Go to a good tire shop and trust the recommendation of the tech. If they can repair it they will. If you didn't see anything noticable, chances are the damage is minor enough it can be plugged.
