mwh2009
Looking at the Cobb (stage 1 to start) upgrades and wondering what the weak link in the chain will be? Exhaust? Turbo? Cooling? Clutch? Engine Internals? Thanks to anyone who has some knowledge to lay down on me....
AShoe
Any car with awd and a turbo can be extremely damaging to the clutch and transmission if driven poorly. My 05 has almost 90k miles on the stock clutch, 30k of those at stage1. If you drive properly you won't have any problems. If you drive poorly any of those parts could break in a short time. I do my fair share of hard acceleration, it's power shifting, launching, and trying to play fast and furious that breaks cars.
Th3Franz
I don't know which clutch supplier Subaru chose for the 2010+. If they went with Sachs again, I would expect the stock clutch to start slipping if you push any further than a basic stage 2 tune -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
