bizzy102
Well, Im new here to the forum but not to Subarus. This is my third one and I plan on keeping this one for some time hopefully. I have a stock 97 Legacy Brighton. 2.2 and no tach, no speakers in the back... WTF!! So I got to the tach part today with some small body work! First the Tach. The Brighton dosnt come with a tach in the dash so I went to the boys and picked up this Now That that is done. I had to wire it up from behind the dash. Didn't like wire in the engine bay so I used the tach signal wire from the cluster. Who Knew it still had a signal to the dash with no tach present. Did some bezel work and some bady work also
amp27
its not that its a good job but it just looks out of place. even more on a 2.2. more on a britghton and even more on a wagon. just staying.

White painted pieces and remember your wall outlet you put in your car amp.. i thought those looked out of place to haha goodjob bizzy ill throw props to you I've been trying to put an oil temp or pressure gauge somewhere in my dash
amp27
yea but adding tachs is a whole differnt thing.. reminds me of a wrx i saw with 3 rpm taches. the outlet is a next touch.. instead of haveing a converter box laying around, its built in. everyone like it. except the older folks, they just dont understand. Bassnectar
im nineteen and deal with a lot of electronics but dont ever need to power anything through my car, so i guess it depends on what your doing in your car making some coffee, or on legacygt.com I just use my car to drive lol spirited with the 5 speed ; ) and i dont see why going from no tach to a tach looks out of place, sure his car looks a little ricier with an aftermarket guage, but it performs a function at least he can see when his car is shifting and judge performance on that vs just the sound of the engine. Zues Marine
is this a brighton? you could just throw a tach in from a non-brighton model... its already pre wired for it
