Zues Marine
vibrant performance is the best in my opinion, straight through design and non fart can appearance really brings out the boxer rumble http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t232/wakeboardingguy/000_0005.jpg [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WHAruAI3PA]YouTube - Subaru Legacy Full 2.5" Exhaust[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOTYTo8nKaE]YouTube - Subaru Legacy Vibrant Performance Exhaust Clip[/ame]

DelawareBlueHen724
I heard Borla Headers, Universal Cats, and Vibrant Muffler is the way to go This is a great sounding Legacy in my opinion [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlIA27fqn3o]YouTube - 1997 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT fun in the snow[/ame]
Zues Marine
That's a super hot setup, but they don't show anything for Legacy's on their website? yeah i have muffler #1046 from vibrant streetpower series, and the UEL headers (borla knockoffs, less likely to crack) it isnt legacy specific
98quiksilvergt
This is mine. Not sure what brand it is but it's stainless. 150.00 shipped on eBay. I also got my 2.5RS stainless header on eBay. 130.00 shipped. I'm using two new stock cats too. Sounds awesome!!! http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd104/thrty5thsc/4205b6f3.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd104/thrty5thsc/66408353.jpg
Zues Marine
speedyracer.com for headers is your best bet any 2.5L subaru headers will work, if youre single port you're going to have to spend quite a pretty penny to get the ms3 ones

rshaw123
get a set of stock headers for your car and cut the port of the piping and weld metal tubing to them, and you have equal length headers you can put into any size set up you want. My cousin and I did this to his 2.2L single port and it sounded awesome and we were using the stock muffler
Zues Marine
but if it were that easy why wouldn't everyone do that, aftermarket headers are engineered differently than just bending metal tubes, you'll get the sound sure
