one bad bg Posted August 28, 2010 Share Posted August 28, 2010 For anyone who lives in Ohio, I learned this in the academy last Wed. "On any motor vehicle, as long as beam distribution is not blinding oncoming traffic, you are aloud to have 5 lights turned on that face the front of the vehicle." That also includes roof rack lights, so long as they don't blind oncoming cars, you could have your headlights on, and 3 lights on your roof on. Your headlights obviously count as 2, and it doesn't matter where the other ones are mounted. The thing that will get you is beam distribution.
