Mark34
I've tried searching here, Cobb forums, and on google, but couldn't find a clear answer.... I have a Cobb SF Intake and finally washed it. I'm waiting for it to dry, but I don't know how much oil to use to re-oil it. Do you just spritz it with oil or does it need to be evenly distributed on the filter like the K&N instructions? The Cobb kit just says to oil after it's dry.
king_j
all oil type filters need the oil all over to trap dirt. dont drench it, but is should be oiled well.
Max Capacity
I use the K&N filter cleaning kit on my Perrin Panel filter. I just spray it enough to wet the surface, you don't want it dripping off. It needs to be wet not soaked. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
