little black push plug in the fuse area

I was wondering if anybody knew what this black push plug was in the fuse box area.

It's either not from the factory (part of a car alarm or something) or someone removed the brake or clutch pedal sensor

I bought this car BN automatic with factory alarm. Only thing the fatory installed is the remote starter. I dont think that's the remote starter kill switch.

 

Do you think its to kill the alarm when the doors are open? I dont want to try it in case it breaks something.

That is a valet button for the remote start. Turn the key on and press and hold and it will not remote start. Most people don't use them anyway.

^^^ thanks. lets say after valet. Do I just hit the button to enable it?

 

 

I thought to disable the remote start was to hold the brake pedal, turn to on, and press the remote three times. then the horn will chrp 3times.

I'm not sure about it being the valet button, but I know it's used when registering the system with the car's immobilizer and to program the tach idle speed when the remote start system is installed.
