Now the hissing is audible at 1 and gets louder as you turn up the dial. Please help. My system below: OEM HU --> Line Out Converter --> (eq & line driver) --> 2 amps --> speakers Thanks in advance. John M Posted July 18, 2010 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Any time you amplify you add noise. Taking the head unit's output to a LOC isn't the cleanest starting point (but it's the best you can do) and jacking that to 9v is going to accentuate the hiss as well as the signal.
