nyrm98
I have been getting my car tuned and have also recently installed a lightweight crank pulley (in the middle of tuning) -don't know if the two are related but I recently noticed that my DAM is below 1 at times. Can a lightweight crank pulley cause the ECU to pick up engine knock? Any help in this matter would be great. Anyone else experience this?
Spec B
I doubt the pulley has anything to do with it. I am pretty sure it is the tune.
MiniStiGuy
It would be the tune and not the pulley. OEM HID's Rx330 Retro
Infamous1
I haven't seen it being an issue, however let me first say I have been tuning this car. t has some kind of phantom knock/noise that only recently risen. It happens on my mapping or the Cobb mapping still diagnosing, although I never knew the pulley was changed. Im still thinking there has to be some sort of noise as the multiplier is dropping under cruise not WOT.
MiniStiGuy
well it can be the pulley if it is not the same size as the original. OEM HID's Rx330 Retro
