Darkebane Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Ok so i got a intake tube from a 95 legacy, for my 97 LGT, but when i go to put it on theres one dangle with 3 outlets that there are no hoses for..What do i do with that? :S
fwa2500 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 where on the engine are they and what sizes are they? any chance you could post a photo to show what you mean?
Darkebane Posted July 4, 2010 Author Posted July 4, 2010 Its the 3 prong dangle that comes off the bottom of the 95/96 Legacy intake tube. There are no free hoses coming from a the engine to plug onto them. Every hose i unplugged from the 97LGT intake tube(including the torque box that is connected to intake manifold) Are all plugged in.
kaz98gt Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 did you get the intake with the air plennum? if you got that intake off of a 2.2, it has extra hose inlets on it, while the 2.5 with the big air plennum has I think one or two less.
Darkebane Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 I dunno, i hooked up all the hoses i disconnected when i took out my stock stuff. And im just gonna buy some rubber hose caps, and cap the 3 inlets im not using.
amp27 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 i have those 3 plugs too. and i use them. i wonder what they changed. maybe one of those really smart subie guys will chime in.
Darkebane Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 I didnt notice there was a few hoses connected to each other that go into one of the intlets, Maybe on the older models they just all plug into their own inlet?
fwa2500 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 looks like that is for the head breather tubes and the other tube that comes from right by the big one, do you already have those attached?
amp27 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 yea two are from the headcovers. this is true. what do they do
