tklb
I have a hydrolocked 07 legacy. I was wondering if I could interchange any year of the 2.5 with this one? Just want to get it going again.

tklb
Well I wouldn't say it was hydrolock. More like just broke. Took in water, and engine seized. Later on I pumped it out, and now the crank will only turn 180* either way. I'm assuming a broken rod, or worse. If anybody has any parts for sale please let me know. B-BGTLimited
How did you manage to "take in" water? I hear about this but it still blows my mind on how people are doing this.
GEE-OTTO
You should just say F the Ej253 and drop in a EJ20R or maybe a Ej208
B-BGTLimited
Why not a EJ255 if your gonna go turbo.
tklb
Lol. I don't know how it happened, I wasn't driving. All I know is I pulled the plugs and pumped it out and it was full. I thought about swapping it but my nissan is my weekend car. I just want it back to stock and running smooth. It's so dam comfortable to daily I don't want to change that. Even though I may change the exhaust down the road to get that tone. I'll probly just swap a stock long block. None of the salvages in my area have one though. If it was a dam ford truck they sure would. racists, er carists.
