Have there dent guy fix your car. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. tailgatewagon Posted July 2, 2010 Author Share Posted July 2, 2010 well i was on the freeway going about 85 when i saw the first stone hit the ground in front of me. i slamed on the breaks(since there wasnt anyone behind me) and got down to 30ish but i coulnt stop under the underpass as it was already cloged with cars. i was in a construction zone by this time and cars were stoped in the middle of the road so i did some cone zigzaging and some sholder driving and got out of it. the subaru dealer that i drove past when the first one hit has over 40 cars with broken windows/ monster dents/ and what not about 10 of them were predilvery cars so they still have all the plastic on them.... kinda sad to see all the shiny turbos and jetta tdi's as junk.... They'll buff right out. Sorry to hear about your car man. Like someone else said, find yourself a good restoration shop. We got 1/2 inch size hail here in Roslyn Long Island two weeks ago, I stood in a parking lot and it literally sounded like someone was throwing large metal ball bearing on all the cars, I can only imagine how it sounded with golf ball size hail!!!
