Whiteline Swaybar link kit-spherical rod end

got these today free of a generous local Impreza owner:

Would they be an improvement over stock?

Also they seem like they are adjustable, they can be made longer or shorter, should i just keep them the same length as standard ones? any benefit of changing the length?

Looks like a good deal.

Do you have a right angle cut off tool to remove the old ones ? That made installing my Perrins a whole lot easier.

I'm no suspension expert so I'll leave your questions to the experts

I ran those on a civic Si, and after about 5k miles, they were so loud and annoying, I threw them away. any spherical endlink will be noisy due to being metal on metal, and will wear out of tolerance on a street car fairly quickly. if its a track car, I'd recommend them. if its a daily driver, I'd pass them on to someone else.

is there any benefit to them within that 5K? If i get 5K out of them and their shot after that, i can stick the stock ones back in!!!

not really. they have 0 deflection, compared to the stock ones with the rubber/plastic bushing in them. but the stock ones won't have much deflection anyway. since they were free, toss em on and see how long they last. but unless you drive the car 10/10ths, and have every other bushing upgraded, its not really gonna improve anything. it may even make the sway bushings wear more quickly, since thats where the increased stress will be placed.

no bushings upgraded yet so, dont want to be adding something if it will have a detrimental affect on other parts on the car causing more problems, as a great man once said, " if it ain't broke...."

something like that. It make short work of the old OEM end links.

after I got tired of the ones like you posted, I tried some of these. they lasted a bit longer than the first ones, but they began to get clunky right before the car got totaled. these are only $60 a pair, compared to $142 for the whitelines.

hmmm dont think i will want to be cutting them off! Yours must have been welded on!

Nope just 127,000 mile of rust on them. My lower ends unbolted nice and easy after a spray of PB Blaster. the uppers began to strip the 5mm hex. I have all the tools I need. I just cut then off in the few minutes.
