More CAI Problems

Recommended Posts

Ok, so here's a few more pictures of the setup. Maybe someone can tell me if I have a hose on wrong. The largest hose which I had to go out and replace is bent in a way that does stress the area it connects to the CAI. There is a chance a minute amount of air could be leaking there. Is that enough to cause a problem? I was going to get a simple elbow from a plumbing shop and just add that to take the stress off the hose. I'll probably do that anyway just to see if that solves my problem.

i like the idea of the filter going into the fender as you definately will get cooler air in the engine

but the filters are really small and you wont get alot of airflow

my filter is in the engine bay but looks twice as big as the ones inside the fender..

so im not sure if my ram intake is producing more horsepower...

but id be glad to take it to the track,

as the intake is the only performance mod on my car

that looks like it goes into the fender but down the maybe the fog light cut on for cold air.

another thing i was bring up is. has anyone even done logs in our cars to see if it even matters. the snorkel thing is nothin but a way to muffle the sound on our 2nd gen lgts....until i see a log proving it.
