Brock Landers
Hey, I'm heading out on a mountain bike trip with 2 buddies and am wondering if we can fit our 3 bikes in the back of my LGT wagon, leaving the rear seat partially up for the 3rd passenger. Anybody try this before, and is it possible? Thanks! Brock

Brock Landers
How much can you take the bikes apart ? I'd remove the front wheels and the seats, but that's all i'd be looking to do.
Brock Landers
get bikes like mine it folds:) i have this model Montague Whoah - that looks like a very slick piece! It also looks a bit beyond my budget - certainly way more than the $600 Kona hardtail i have . Good food for thought though!
SnarlyMarley
You'd have to take front and rear wheels off and stack the frames and wheels real close with cardboard or a blanket in between. And don't be the guy stuck in back with all the bike stuff about to smother him. Doable but a very tight fit.
sactojesse
IMO, life is too short to go without a decent bike rack. Besides, your interior will thank you.
Brock Landers
Thanks for the tips everyone, much appreciated. Yeah, it seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth, even if they did all fit. I may look into getting a decent 2nd hand carrier after all.
