Platinum_Racing
On the throttle cam, where the throttle cable leads to. This is located on the throttle body, on top of the engine, mounted on and behind the intake manifold. It will be a small flathead screw with a spring around it behind the throttle cam. Tighten to increase idle, loosen to reduce idle. The problem you're having is most likely the idle air control solenoid. It is located on the intake manifold, left side, behind the cylinder 3 intake runner. It will have several hoses coming out of it with a single electrical plug. Remove the hoses, remove the electrical plug, remove the bolts that hold the IAC solenoid to the intake manifold, and spray it down with carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or starting fluid. Reinstall and see if the idle gets any smoother. 9 times out of 10 this is the reason for idle fluctuations, and increasing the idle stop screw will only waste fuel.
