branab3 Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 HElp! This may be simple, but how does one remove the Air Bag Plug from under the airbag? You see, I got a steering wheel for my 2005 LGT 5MT that has the stero control buttons where mine does not. Not to mention, how simple is the conversion? When I got the airbag off lastnight, I easily remove the horn/controls plug and the cruise control plug. I noticed on the horn/controls plug, there were four pins seemingly ready to go. Is it just that easy? I seem to remember a post some time ago that described this same task. I rember wiring and Radio Shack plug parts required. Mine is a Limited if it makes a difference. So to recap, plug and play on the wheel? and how in the world does the actual air bag unplug from the column? Thanks, I look forward to the help.
