BAC5.2
Hey everyone, It seems as though most modern Subarus that aren't STi's have a 15/16" or 1" bore master cylinder, while the STi has a 17/16ths" master cylinder. On cars that do 4-wheel Brembo upgrades, the larger MC does worlds for pedal feel. Does anyone have an opinion on that for the Legacy crowd? As I understand it, to do an STi MC swap, we would also need to do a booster swap to the STi booster. Might be worth it, if it added to the pedal feel as much as it does on other Subarus. Input? darkside
Well I tried , you will master cylinder and sti booster. I tried to install sti MC but doesn't bolt to factory holes on 07, not sure of the other years. I haven't seen a used booster to continue my research, ask integroid, last time he had both parts don't know if he tried yet. Well this my daily driver can't experiment on it until I get a beater. Th3Franz
Just a caliper upgrade improved feel tremendously. I can't imagine a huge difference in swapping MC's, having driven a number of STI's with Brembos. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
