bakabakablah
What exhaust is that? Sounds pretty damn nice (and loud).
subiedad51
It's the Perrin Turboback with HF cat in the DP. It's definitely loud under hard acceleration. It's not too bad when just cruising but you definitely know it's there. I need to polish the tips and do a complete detailing.
JoeFromPA
Whats with the baseline? Was that the vf52 untuned? Seems like alot of power for a stock baseline.
subiedad51
The graph is the dyno tuned by EFI Logics up in CT. 279whp/300wtq. Stock inj/pump. I could definitely go higher but I've got 90k miles on the stock clutch. I never baselined the VF52 without a tune. The 52 is much stronger than the 46. Pulls like a you know what. They tuned an 06 with injectors and FP at 285/316 with the same other mods as mine. I'm running 19psi. A great daily driver with power where I want it. JoeFromPA
Subie, I must not have spoken well. I'm asking why the baseline pull was 256whp and what the setup was? 256whp seems super high for a stock engine. Were you a stage 2 setup for the baseline, and then you swapped to the vf52? Blameless
so turbo swap was the only way to unleash that kind of power?
subiedad51
JoeFromPA - sorry. The 256 number was Infamous1 tuned. That tune was done with the VF52, minus the BCS and the Perrin Cans. The rest of the setup was the same. As for more power - for me personally wanting to stick with a TMIC I think the VF52 is the way to go. I'll definitely go with injectors/FP once I do my clutch. Based on the Dynos I've seen with a similar setup I should be very close to 290-300whp/315-325wtq but more importantly pickup the HP/WTQ a bit sooner in the rev range.
