FrozenNorthLGT
So while I was installing my new wheels and tires today I decided I wanted to paint the stock calipers. I just got tired of the rusty look of the stock ones. I was going to do the rotor hats too, but since I will be doing brakes sometime this summer probably, I just skipped those. I brushed them hard with a wire brush, then scrubbed them with soapy water. (Hench the reason the rotors look like they have stuff all over them) Then I sprayed them with brake cleaner. After then had dried good(helped them with the air compressor) I put on two coats of paint. It's Duplicolor High-Temp Engine Paint in a Semi-Gloss Black. I sprayed it into a cup and then brushed it on to save on having to mask off everything, and having to worry about over spray. I didnt want them flashy, just not rusty. All in all I'm very pleased with the results. If it lasts a year Ill be happy considering how easy it was to do.

FrozenNorthLGT
you painted with the pads in 'em? Yup.... First off, the pad shims that you can see were getting to be a rusty and crappy looking as everything else. Second, they were black originally. Lastly, I will probably be doing brakes this summer sometime anyways, so I was more concerned with getting the caliper as well as possible, and I got some on the pad shim. It looked funny so I just finished coating them...lol.
