dga
When it's cold(er) out even up to 45 degrees, my LCD screen, on the dash info-center, is super slow. As you change screens, you can watch the numbers slowly morph from one screen to the other. It only happens when it's colder outside and the car itself is cold. It gets better slowly as things warm up, over a 15-20 min period. This was not always like this and is getting worse. I've got an '08 LGT. Has anyone experienced the same thing? schwinn
LCD screens do this... they are liquid crystal displays, hence when it gets colder, the liquid doesn't change states as quickly, making it look slow. Nature of the beast.
spect2k
Same on my car, it's done it since day 1 - very normal.
dga
Yeah, I understood the properties of it; I was just not sure if its worsening condition signaled an upcoming failure. Thanks.
