Woodstock Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 I need help finding leaks:eek:. I currently installed a FMIC and being tuned by infamous. He said that I have a leak in the intake. Waaazooo Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 a leak test can be easy to do. Go buy a short piece of PVC pipe that matches the inlet tubing for your car. I think 2.5" is common for the after MAF portion of the inlet. Also buy an end cap for the pipe. drill and thread in valve for a tire. Place the pressure cap into the inlet portion. Clamp down the hose clamp. Use a tire pump to pressurize the intake system (20-25psi), get soem soapy watter from your moms sink (clean if possible) and wipe down couplers of the whole intake system (FMIC or TMC) you will find a place the bubbles up.
