Saleen S7 TT
I get so confused with all the options there are, I know the sticky is one option. But I remember seeing an aux-in that doesn't require a black CD which would be nice. How hard is it to install something like this? I want one that will be easy to use and under $100. If I have a friend that wants to use an iPod, they can just use the aux also right? I really wish these cars had an aftermarket headunit option that isn't over $200 (least I've seen is $750!), not including the headunit. Thanks for any input! RedFloyd
I would say the Leptronix aux in, but I'm a little biased!

And yes, the clock wasn't set yet. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
Boostin1657615274
I swapped in a 2008 Radio for about $200, sold my OEM HU for $120, and wired in a radio shack cord per the sticky. Aux in works perfect. On the search for a new DD...
BravoZero
Is there a way you could wire BOTH head units to either a line out converter or an amp, so that you could use either head unit on the same speakers? If so, I may have an idea...
SVXdc
The easiest way would be to connect one pair of speaker outputs (fronts or rears) from the OEM HU into a LOC, and connect that into an aux input on the aftermarket HU. To connect both HUs to an amp, you would need to rig up some kind of switch.
BravoZero
A toggle switch right? So it is indeed possible?
SVXdc
Yes, but you may need to take extra precautions to avoid an annoying (and possibly speaker-damaging) *pop* when you switch inputs.
BravoZero
Im sure that has a work-around.
