Chrisbl
Hey. Spring is coming up, and I'm about to order a set of coilovers and already have a set of Volk wheels in 18x8 + 44 (225/40/18 tires) laying around from my old car. I've been searching around on both google and the forum, but haven't found much about this offset. I've also read the stickies, but I figured its better to ask now than to be sorry if I run into trouble in a couple of months.. + 44 offset seems to be kinda rare on the Legacy, will I have any fitment issues at all with these when I lower the car? Chrisbl
Ok, I test fitted one wheel today. It did not seem like there were any issues inside the wheel well, but it looks like I have to roll my fenders to get the rims flush with the car. http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu347/chrisbl/Speilrefleks/DSC_0604.jpg http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu347/chrisbl/Speilrefleks/DSC_0597.jpg http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu347/chrisbl/Speilrefleks/DSC_0608.jpg http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu347/chrisbl/Speilrefleks/DSC_0593.jpg Any input? Volleyball
I think it looks fine. Just check for any contact points with fender and you should be good to go. It looks like it will corner tighter
GTride05
I say it looks great but roll the fenders for your coils and dump that baby to the ground. I am getting some 18x8.5 and they too share the 44ET and I am going to have to roll the fendas
noswad
Ive got 19x8 +45et with 225/25/19, no rolled fenders, and cleared fine with Swifts that I had on the wag. I did have to remove the rear inner fender lip liner though. m sprank
You will not need a roll. Just remove the inner fender liner from the rear. I have two LGT's. My 5EAT rolls on 18x8 +45mm 225/40/18 w/Swifts/Tokicos. No rub. My SpecB rolls 18x8 +45mm 235/40/18 w/RCE Tarmacs. No rub. All I did was remove the fender liner. Rear is all that will get close. If it scares you, just trim the rear inner lip with a dremel. No need to roll it.

ScherbS
What rims are those? I was thinking about picking up some rota torques or something similar to the ones you have on there. Just black or silver
