Meshanks07
If our 3.0's were manuals then we could get a lot more rumble out of exhausts/cans
twinturbosubaru
Maybe something like this ?I know the sound clip isn't that great, but might give you a decent idea. This is a 3" cat back XForce system for a GT but on my 3.0R wagon, the only mod was to slightly adjust the bracket on one muffler and shorten the section off the back of the cat slightly, easy job for any decent mechanic or workshop. Exhaust RegardsPaul
GEE-OTTO
What a bad launch I bet someone has a glazed clutch LOL. That is a lovely sound if only our lame DOT regulations were not so tight we too could get Ota Gunma awesomeness

AceDog
I know this doesn't really go in this thread but I bought a AEM cold air intake for my 3.0R and it gave the front of my car a nice deep sound. Just thought I would through that out there if any of you were thinking of getting an intake. It also let's the gear rev out a lil longer. Ill upload some pic of it in next post. AceDog
They are bolt-on, I installed them with hand tools and WD-40 with the vehcle on the ground. Can you send a link from where you got them from i have been searching for more stuff for a while, i have been told a some place around where i live that they dont know if they will actually bolt right on. So i would love to get more info. The AEM is for a LGT, i pretty much was a perfect fit, had to change only on thing. Need to drill a new hole in the heat shield so i could turn it from where the LGT intake sits. I got it from this place:http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/61A2052A0A0.aspx

Swedesub
I bought a custom made 2,5" stainless steel CBE from swedish company Ferrita for my 3.0R Spec.B. It has a deep rumble on low revs that turns into a higher pitched growl on high revs. It is definetly louder than stock (which is dead quiet) but not tiring when cuising on the freeway. Here are a few pics on how it looks on the car: http://c4.se/heyman/rear.jpg http://c4.se/heyman/rear_side.jpg As you can see the end pipes are not that much bigger than stock. They are round instead of oval and they are about an inch longer than the stock pipes.
