scoobydoobie
I know the springs were changed, so its not a direct comparison, but how do you feel about the HDs v.s. your stock bilsteins? noticeably stiffer or harsher?
dr_sharp
All I can say is that it rides much different. Much less body roll and much less squat and dive. The bumps are much harsher but certainly not too harsh so as to make it an uncomfortable daily driver. To what degree the struts and springs play a role in that, individually, is beyond my ability to describe. I'm very happy with the setup and I do feel like the HDs were an upgrade. I did weigh the springs and the H Techs are 2 lbs. heavier than the stock LGT springs... that is, 1/2 lb heavier per spring. Also, the scales I use are calibrated testing lab scales... none of this bathroom scale (underweight) or UPS scale (overweight) nonsense. lol
