mattg
Would you post a picture comparing the GMS LGT and impreza inlets side by side so we can see the difference? That would be great. And that's awesome that you've sold 100 of these to LGT owners. Strange that I'm the only one to have installed one and reviewed it.
IMPORTIMAGE
this is not a problem. if you look here they are clearly different. old school 02-07 wrx/04+ sti http://www.importimageracing.com/p/gimmick-motorsports-Turbo-Inlet-Hose-wrx-sti.html legacy 05-09 http://www.importimageracing.com/p/Gimmick-Motorsport-Turbo-Inlet-Hose-05-09Legacy-gt.html 08-11 wrx http://www.importimageracing.com/p/Gimmick-Motorsports--turbo-Inlet-Hose-08-09-WRX.html I have sold over 800 of the 02+ wrx/04-11 sti inlets, there are definitely not anywhere near as many reviews as there are customers. this is very typical most happy customers will say nothing. I've sold over 10,000 walbro fuel pumps...those review threads...are not there. i've sold over 2200 sets of bc racing coilovers...the 65 page review thread doesnt represent that either 1-941-257-9618 http://www.importimageracing.com
mattg
Guess I should have ordered the "old school" version. It looks like it has the "jog" at the end that could have possibly made it fit better on my particular car. I understand what you're saying, but you can't deny that some people have run into the same fitment issue I did. I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes. BTW, PDX tuning had 2 Walbro's in a row go bad on my car within a month. Just sayin'.

sleeper8406
Why dont you try re-installing it with out the manifold on? See if it seats better...or at all
IMPORTIMAGE
im not saying its not a tough install, depends on what level mechanic you are, its up there with being as much of a pain in the rear as an up pipe. but they do work. if you have a wrx style turbo on your legacy yes you can be using the earlier fitment as you've elminated the need for the legacy style inlet. 1-941-257-9618 http://www.importimageracing.com
