Cobb intake

Will it have any negative side effects to my car if i put it on..because it does fit just fine...

 

so you mean to tell me that your n/a intake:

Kind of a noob, but as far as I know the intakes don't need to be re-tuned when installed in the turbo set. Seems like you wouldn't have any side effects with the 2.5i by putting it in. I don't know what kind of performance you'll get from it other then a little better MPG, but it's always fun to play. :D

yea scoobiedoobie...besides being an asshole you werent much help..and for your information the cobb intake is installed and working on my 2.5i straight out of the box...thanks for your expert advice.

 

 

:rolleyes: name calling, nice. How bout some pics of intake installed on your 2.5i so other people can use it for reference? And because I still don't believe you

Just looking at the pics I posted earlier, you can see that the N/A intake runs into the throttle body where as a turbo intake goes in front of the intake manifold and into the turbo inlet. I just cannot picture in my head how the shorter intake would fit properly on the n/a motor, or much less why anyone would think its a good idea to do so.
