Stick8373 Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Kind of a noob, but as far as I know the intakes don't need to be re-tuned when installed in the turbo set. Seems like you wouldn't have any side effects with the 2.5i by putting it in. I don't know what kind of performance you'll get from it other then a little better MPG, but it's always fun to play. scoobydoobie Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Just looking at the pics I posted earlier, you can see that the N/A intake runs into the throttle body where as a turbo intake goes in front of the intake manifold and into the turbo inlet. I just cannot picture in my head how the shorter intake would fit properly on the n/a motor, or much less why anyone would think its a good idea to do so.
