Bolksey85
The single filament bulbs. I'll take photos of them lit compared to stock tomorrow. I'm just waiting to get pulled over for these bulbs as I got pulled over for my plate bulbs one day Do you have LED's for the plate? What was the end result of that conversation? Windy Road
Do you have LED's for the plate? What was the end result of that conversation? Yea I have "white" LED's for the plate and got pulled over one night for "ornamental" lights on my car. I got out of it, I told the cop I'll check them out and change them if they aren't white. Never looked into it I'll get photos tonight of the turn signal bulbs, plate bulbs and the reverse bulbs. Maybe even the inside trunk lighting I have in there since I'll be out behind the car anyway. 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
Bolksey85
So let me get this straight. Going from white light to brighter white light is ornamental?
TSiWRX
So let me get this straight. Going from white light to brighter white light is ornamental? ^ The problem is that some of the white can be rather "blue," and that's a big no-no, in areas where lighting codes are strictly enforced. I've had friends and acquaintances pulled over and cited (although, in many cases, I either don't know the outcome of the citation or it was a simple "fix-it-ticket" which got easily dismissed) for their OEM lighting. With any aftermarket lighting, particularly "white" LEDs, know that you're running a small risk. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family

The LED's are white but they have a very slight blue tint to them, though to me they look very much like the Lexus ones. I might replace them with a better LED soon anyway. Now onto the photos I promised All photos straight from camera. Stock on Left/drivers side, Chrome bulb on Right/passenger side. STRI boost gauge is some what visible through the tint http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0804.jpg Now for my other lighting mods since I was outside in the cold anyway R Rev Led Reverse Lights - They are pretty bight, they provide a much cleaner white light in my eyes and they do provide to actually light up behind the car better. Its still hard to see with 30% tint whats behind me on my street anyway. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0809.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0810.jpg Chrome turn bulbs, R Rev Reverse LED's, Stock brake bulbs, Venders on here LED plate bulbs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0811.jpg Custom Trunk LED's They are about this bright, maybe a tad brighter and pure white. It might be me but the photo looks to have a slight blue hue to it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0817.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Auto%20Photo%20Shoots/Legacy/DSC_0818.jpg 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
Bolksey85
2 questions. 1, does anyone know which bulbs I would need to convert everything in the rear of an 08 sedan to LED, as in a list? I know the rear turn is a 7440/7443 and the plate bulb is a 194/168. How about brake lights? And 2, anyone have issues with fast blinking with them? Go to the Sylvania website in the first post to find every single bulb type in the car. You may actually have some issues with the turn signals, but I can't say for sure. With the GTOs, a load resistor would need to be installed to avoid it reeking havoc with the traction control (turning on and off on its own).
