neboo Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 I have a 99 Legacy L 30th Anniversary. It has about 140k on it. We have put about 2k miles on it since we got it and havent really come across any issues. Today I went across some railroad tracks and the left front has started this annoying loud squeeking noise, almost like something is rubbing on something. It only makes the noise when you go over a dip or bump, but mostly on dips. I pushed down on the car when it is stopped and it makes no noise. I know it would be tough to figure out the problem without seeing it, but does this sound like something that anyone has come across before? are there any common problems on the Legacy I should look for? I have to drive it another 400 miles on Xmas to get it to my dad's place. He used to own a body shop years ago and knows a lot more than me.
