I sort of looked into it, since I found a v7 spoiler being sold locally for $100. You'll have to take off your current spoiler and fill in the holes and just recreate new ones, but the base does fit within the trunk's area I believe. If it is still wobbly then just secure with 3M tape and etc! Sounds simple but I'm sure its a ton of work, but there is no rear light on the spoiler so it does ease up the job a little!
