dwolson2
Before you start, Here is the link to the original thread: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113589 Also, here is a parts list: JDM Double Din adapter H6217AG911 http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.p...5e5f01d0bc7e63 3 harnesses from SVX Dc -14 pin audio cable -i88 adapter harness -i85 adapter harness(this is only needed for steering wheel controls, OEM Nav, OEM Aux in, some factory subs, and/or Dimmer cancellation) JDM Hazard switch(optional, but I will be using it) First Pull out your old radio, do a search, if you don't know how to do this. Wire in your 14 pin harness and i88 harness with your new radio harness: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2570925&postcount=637 Next, Cut out part of your dash... Before: http://i49.tinypic.com/fzbzb.jpg After: http://i45.tinypic.com/11gk0vm.jpg Install your hazard switch on the faceplate(2 screws): http://i48.tinypic.com/255hwky.jpg File in 2 places to allow for closer alignment:*NOTE file on both left and right tabs(one side of tab) Bottom of HVAC module: http://i45.tinypic.com/2cehx6w.jpg Top of shifter bezel: http://i45.tinypic.com/23sxd8z.jpg Assemble your HVAC, Faceplate, and Radio; as the instruction that came with the kit note there should be 3 screws for each side: http://i50.tinypic.com/nycm00.jpg The wire(black) that came with the kit needs to be attached to one of the screws going into your radio. Install the assembly into your car, making sure everything is plugged in. Re assemble and your done http://i49.tinypic.com/4fwrnl.jpg Special Note, This is the "simple" version, if you have steering wheel controls, nav, etc. you may or will need to do more things to keep functionality. You may also paint the shifter bezel to match the black HVAC, like the photo above. Please refer to the link above for more information.
