jcogman
Hi, Can someone please tell me how I can increase the rpm on my 1991 1.8l petrol legacy when it's ticking over? When sitting at traffic lights the rev's are too low and it sometimes stalls and also when you dip the clutch whilst going down a hill. If anyone can suggest what to do to fix this it would be ace. Platinum_Racing
There is an idle adjustment screw behind the throttle arm on the throttle body. By tightening this little screw with the spring on it you will increase the idle. Do this with the car running until the idle stays steady at about 500-1,000 RPM's. Good luck!
