andyarmada
What's the piping size on the stock 2.5i catbacks, or rather all the stock cat backs on the Legacy's? Is it 2.5inch then reduces to 2.25inch at the y-pipe joint? I'm investing in a cutout and I need ot know which size pipe/flange to get.

scoobydoobie
I'd be surprised if it was that big. I know on older n/a subies that most of the piping size was around 1.75"

GEE-OTTO
From front to back The primaries have a OD of 1.25 inches The exhaust tubing is 2.21 inches but the flange at the mid point of the cat back will bolt to a 2.5 flange the Y pipe splits down to 1 7/8 then into the mufflers. I would not recommend a cutout for a 2.5i.
abarnesDLGT
so if i buy mufflers with a 2.25 inlet, will it bolt right onto the stock pipe? or should i just go for it and but a full cat-back
