Scooter126
Well i just jacked up the front of my 99 Leg to check my wheel bearings and cv joints and i find my front end play is my streeing rack:eek:. So now i need to know what rack and pinion sets will swap into my car. I know the newer STI ones need an adapter so thats out:(. slickfast
You're sure it's not the tie rods? How did you verify it was the rack?
Scooter126
its not the rod end cuz i can see the boot is all torn up and the rod itself pulls in and out of the rack a little and dosent on the other side
1-3-2-4
Uhmm did I miss something? I have to replace my inner and outer tie rods because for one both boots are torn and I have a fair amount of play with one wheel on the ground and the other in the air it has movement.
