Internal Failure. Needs new motor

I've heard of that happening. My piston has always been okay with it, but sometimes the cylinders have had problems. Still, sometimes you have to make sacrifices in the name of suck-squish-bang-blow...
sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.

Few points there is no way to swap out the short block while it is still attached to your transmission aka still in your engine bay. Sounds more like you had a valve train failure and they are replacing the driver side head which can be done with the motor in the car. In any event keep an eye in the oil even if you pay to have it changed you can only trust what you know about the car and you can always trust the dip stick :eek:

Stopped by dealer today. The mechanic had the motor out and notived that the Flex Plate was cracked. I don't even know what a flex plate is, or what it was caused buy. :confused:But the good news is i wont be stuck with out a car for 2 weeks, i will have it back wednesday.:spin:
