Do you have a VIN plate?

I was at the stealership the other day picking up a tube of touch-up-paint.

They wanted the entire VIN, despite my efforts to tell them to just give me Satin White Pearl.

So I ambled out to the car to grab the paint code and, lo and behold, there was no VIN plaque on the drivers side strut tower.

I can't remember if my N/A 09 OBSE had a vin plate there or not.

Does anyone else not have one?

Odd.

^ I only stopped off on this thread as I was just in that area of my car the other day, and yep, there's one, on top of the driver's side strut tower.

I'm an '05 (June '04 DOB, actually) LGT sedan.

I wonder if other years had it moved, elsewhere?

The plate I'm talking about has more info on it than the VIN. It's got your paint code and all that jazz.

If it's not on the drivers strut tower on the 09's, where is it? Some of that info is critical!
