klrtovfr
Im looking for a winter tire setup for a 2.5i sedan. Tire rack has 16" steelies and recomends a 205/55/16. Will a 195/60/16 work on these rims? The blizzak ws60 tires Im looking at are $85 for the 195 and are $107 for a 205. Wouldn't the 195 be better in the snow as well? Using a tire size calculator I get Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference 205/50-17 4.0in 12.5in 25.1in 78.8in 804 0.0% 195/60-16 4.6in 12.6in 25.2in 79.2in 800 0.6% 205/55-16 4.4in 12.4in 24.9in 78.2in 811 -0.8%
NutBucket
Should be fine. Someone else can chime in though. Honestly, the 10mm difference won't matter much.
N.sane
It'll be fine as long as it's within 3% difference.
