tedsan126
I was thinkin of putting this programmer into my 98' legacy ej22. Does anyone have any opinions or expieriences with it http://www.titanmotorsports.com/afcneo.html
Platinum_Racing
Without a VTEC Honda engine, all it's gonna do is mess up the ideal 14.7:1 air fuel ratio maintained by the ECU. There are cheaper alternatives that don't have the adjustable VTEC engagement point that you're never going to use anyway.
05lgt5spd
It not designed specifically for Vtec, it just has that feature. All you can really do with that is adjust your fuel mixture, and its not going to give you any feedback, so your more likely to toast your motor with it. This will work with the car, but the only 2 features it has are for fuel mixture adjustments and VTEC engagement adjustments. He could buy a fuel mixture adjustment programmer without the VTEC feature for cheaper, but then he would still be overriding the ECU in it's attempts to maintain an ideal 14.7 : 1 air fuel ratio. This device could run the engine too rich or too lean very easily, fouling spark plugs left and right.
