c-lo
when I back out of my parking spot with the wheel turned sharply I feel my front wheels "wobble" like a bent wheel. I'm assuming this is because my control arm bushings are bad and need replacing? Otherwise the car drive fine. No wobble any other time. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

c-lo
i know. make sense though? the bushings are pretty bad off. could there be play in the arms when turning sharply? 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
schwinn
Check the tierods? I had a friend who broke his tierod, and when going in reverse, it would wobble (caster is biased for forward-driving, not reverse... think of a caster on a shopping cart, for example)... but going forward, he didn't notice anything. I'd think you'd notice a broken tierod, but I guess at least one person didn't!
c-lo
yeah don't know. never broke one. I was under there when I did the o2 sensor and didn't notice anything. guess i'll go back under and look around. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
