T red mkv Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 ok ive been battling some problems with this car and now im trying to figure out why i cannot get any spark... things ive checked: -coil -igniter -fuses -timing -new spark plugs and wires -all connectors i have yet to try the crankshaft position sensor, but i need some input on what else it could be or whats common for these cars... thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Platinum_Racing Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Crank position sensor and cam position sensor. Also check to see if the coil has voltage going into it. If not there's a problem with the wiring from the harness somewhere. Check the ECU as well. Year, model, engine, and trim level would help.
