xiaomanbluce Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 does anyone here noticed the little knock-knock-knock click sound coming from the area of engin or tranny? mine has this, and when i apply the brake slightly, this sound goes away, and will come back again after 5min driving, no shaking just sound. Platinum_Racing Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Could be a wheel bearing. Mine had a slight clicking when I was driving but it went away. If it is a louder, more violent click it could be a CV shaft. If it does it more under hard acceleration or while turning in one direction it's probably a CV shaft. It could also be a rusted rotor shield that's vibrating and hitting the rotor, which just involves bending the shield away from the rotor. I'd lift whe wheel off the ground and try seeing if there's any play in the wheels. Grab the CV shaft and see if there is any play in those as well.
