donnymanz Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 I just put in a sending unit from the junk yard and I plugged it in and it worked. Went to put it in today and now it does not work. Could it be a fuse or from having it sit around the garage for about a week. I tried to look at the fuses but I am missing the cover for them. So I have no idea what fuse does what. Platinum_Racing Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 I'm pretty sure the sending unit runs off the same fuse as the fuel pump, so if the fuse is blown your engine won't run. Therefor, it shouldn't be the fuse. If the gauge worked when you plugged it in it's not the gauge. Could it be the plug? Is the unit not plugged in all the way?
